i know its open next week but could i dive it tomorrow if i show up with a buddy?
is quarry available tomorrow?

i guess it was...met frank...coolest guy...and good to hear that things are looking good for the vote...because of proximity, i'll be going there as often as i can to help with the cleanup and get some dives in...

What quarry? Id like to do a quarry dive.

Is it legal to dive there? I read online the selectmen we discussing allowing this to be a dive site.
Good questions, the quarry is not open to divers on the weekdays, as of now.
It is only open when the proposed new lessors, Ed, Frank, and Sean Hayes open it to the public. It will be opened this weekend for both days, a $10.00 fee for the day, and you must bring your c card, and sign the usual waivers. If you havent been, you should try it out, there's usually lots of divers there, and it's a lot of fun. The more the merrier! If you would like more info, try entering "portland quarry".

Dont forget to show up early incase they are giving a dive briefing. I'de say Frank gives a real good brieffing definitly worth the effort to come early to attend.

Even if you miss a formal briefing, Frank or any of the guys from Scuba Shack would be more than willing to give a briefing and give suggestions.
The Quarry is open this weekend... All weekend.. 9-4.. Come on Down!!!! 10.00 dollar fee and two waivers gets you wet..
