Beats me why Hollis wanted everyone to add or move d-rings.

Maybe they thought sidemount streamlining was just a fad.[emoji4]

Agreed. For the type/configuration of diving you are talking about, you are well into SMS100/Nomad XT/JT/EXP territory....even with 80's.
