is end of december a good time to dive?

i'm thinking of doing a blackbeards, as it seems like the most cost-effective diving experience... (please correct me if i'm wrong!)

since my vacation from work is end of december / start of january, i'm thinking of going then. but i want to make sure it's not too cold, and visibility and marine life is still great... thanks.

I've been that time of year and it's still a great trip. Yes, very affordable.
