This is an SB favorite thread question ... fact is most divers ...not all divers but most usually purchase 1 maybe 2 drysuits in their lives. Reality is most divers don't have a real informative opinion .. just an opinion based on what they currently own. There are some who have several ... but for the average diver ... it's down to the devil they know.
Well, I can say that I spent several years traveling around North America for business and looking at as many dry suits as I could find.
What impressed me the most was DUI's attention to the details. No other DS manufacturer was even close.
For example, take a look at how suspenders are attached to the inside of the DS. Most manufacturers attach the suspender directly to the DS.This focuses a lot of tension on a small area. DUI places a patch at the contact point to spread out the force.
It is the finishing details like suspender attachments, and many other details, that makes DUI DS so good.
Calling all DS users.......
Does *anyone* reading this think that slightly better suspender glue justifies double the price?
Has anyone even *HAD* problems with their suspenders?
Speak now or forever hold your peace.
