Considering the Zeagle Brigade. Plans for a 3mm shorty over a 3mm Farmer John in Caribbean waters. I'm currently 225 lbs (um, sorta fat, but going to lose it!). By Spring, I'll be about 185 lbs. Will the BC have enough buoyancy for me in either configuration?

How about future dry suit diving? Need a bigger bladder to go with the dry suit for fresh water (Great Lakes) dives?

TIA.

Yes, 35lbs of lift is PLENTY for Caribbean diving with a single tank.

No, you won't need a new one when you start drysuit diving. The drysuit actually acts as redundant buoyancy, so if anything, you could use less lift if you wanted.

Doubles, a big pair, would require more lift, but as long as you're diving a single tank, you're good to go.

I know people who dive with an 18 lb wing. I'm actually waiting for a good deal to come along on one for my warm water diving.

i have (when its not being try-dived by other sydney-siders) a zealge bpw with 35lb wing, steel tank, 5mm semi-dry or a shell drysuit and well, im not going to tell you my weight but yes the brigade will give you the lift you need

cheers and enjoy
