Irukandji jellyfish

It's 'stinger' season here in Australia and we've had several pax choppered out with Irukandji stings. Info on this animal seems to be limited. Anyone out there can fill in the gaps? Thanks.

Hi scubad,

I believe that you had an older British tourist die from such an envenomation while swimming in late Jan of this year. As I recall, he may have had a preexisting cardiac condition, but still.
