Anyone know the rules and regulations for lobster hunting and spear fishing in Ireland?

As far as I know any dive boat caught with lobster on board gets confiscated, gear and all.

Was thinking more among freediving for lobbies from the shore. Definitely wouldn't take berried or notched females along with small ones as those practices are as illegal as it gets.
