Introductory Post Roatan vs Cozumel

I have also been to Coz (2yrs ago) and had a great time. There are plenty of choices on where to stay, from all inclusive to apartments, and the diving is excellent. As an earlier poster said, it is mostly drift diving. Have not been to Roatan, but it is on my list.

As a new diver, you may also want to consider Bonaire for its easy shore dives. We are going in four weeks!

Truthfully, I don't think you can make a wrong decision on this!

Good Day All,

I just completed my PADI AOW Diver this weekend and am planning a November Dive trip. Two options so far are Cozumel and Roatan. Can somebody who has dived both offer an opinion?

I chose to live in Utila.

Better, cheaper, friendlier.
