Introduction and aTec Diver Looking for Work

Ok this is my first post here so forgive me if it not up to par. To start with I will give you some background. My name is Jay am 24 and have been tec diving for about a year now and diving since I was 16. By day I am an engineer, by every other night grad school and by weekend an instructor. I am sure others of you out there are instructors and know that the pay doesn’t come near to covering the costs of diving. It seems lately that money seems to be the one thing limiting me in what I can do underwater. Between charters, equipment and travel expenses it would be cheaper to have a drug habit. I have considered finding a sugar mama but older women really don’t do it for me and I love my girlfriend to death. I want to keep both of my kidneys, so that’s out. Next year I have already scheduled cavern, intro to cave and trimix training. I figured the dive training was more valuable then grad school but I know my mother would cry if decided to spend my money on diving instead of grad school. My guess is that some of you guys have picked up some extra diving jobs to support the habit. I was considering diving for golf balls and scrubbing boat hulls every other weekend next spring and summer. I was wondering how you can get your name out there and what are the rates can you charge. Any other suggestions on diving work I can pick up would be greatly appreciated. Basically I am posting this in the tech forum, because I know the average sports diver probably wouldn’t have reliable advice. If you guys have any questions about me I will be happy to reply.
