Hi All :)

My name is Richard, I'm 34 years old & I live in the UK, I passed my Padi Open water Diver course a few years ago but due to personal reasons have been unable to progress with any diving since :(
I have got to a point in my life where I've started thinking "is this all life has to offer me" I would love to get back into diving & see the world,I absolutly loved my course and I often think about the possibility of working up to a career in diving of some description. A diving job would be a dream for me even though I am very much a novice.I would hate to go through life wishing I had tried to follow my dream and not done it :( I honestly have no clue on how to even start to realise this dream. Any advice would be welcome :D

Anyway glad to be part of this community :)

Richard.

PADI has your path layed out for you. I assume you have PADI OW so your next step is advanced. Go to local dive shops and talk to them about your long term goals, when you find a LDS that feels right and has listened to you enroll with them and take your classes. Look at it as one step at a time and it will not be so daunting. keep reading the boards and ask lots of questions.Good luck Carpe diem

Ahhh thanks for the info, I'll have to find a local dive centre and speak to them.

Cheers Richard.
