The strobes are compared with and without diffusers however backscatter fails to compare at the same beam angle

So the Inon Z240 that has already a 100 degrees (you can see it drops less away from the centre) looks weaker however the reality is that the YS-D1 line with 100 diffuser should be compared to the Inon Z240 without diffuser

Inon does not have a 120 diffuser option but looks like the YS-D1 120 curve is more powerful of the Z240

Anyway an interesting but misleading comparison
