My kid asked me the following, to which my answer, after due contemplation was: "I don't think so." The question is: "DOES ANY INTELLIGENT STATEMENT EVER START WITH THE WORD 'DUDE'?"

Am I right?

you should try it in court though and get back to us....

sure..."Dude", is not a word you will find in an intelligent statement.

Oh, yeah, and "Dude" is not just reserved for addressing guys. It's SO irritating.

Yes.

"Dude" is actually a first name.

So the following sentence could apply:

"Dude, could you pass the Cheetos?"
 
I used it today...went into a surf shop to look for a wetsuit. Guy tells me that they are "out of season." I said "Dude, the season's just starting."
 
Yes, I am intelligent and I use Dude all the time.
