Hiya all...

I am going to sharm tomorrow... (I am an instructor) I am interested in seeing Mantas, sharks, whale sharks where possible... any advise on some good dive sites?

I will be there for 20 days between the two locations.

thanks.

I do hope you will read this before departure.
In Sharm do to Woodhouse Reef - Tiran. In may I met there 2 white tip sharks, now (this week) I met 2 loepard sharks. They are usually at the depth of around 40 - 50 meters.
As for mantas - Ras Goslani. They don't take tourists there very often so you will have to negotiate with the centre.
Also Thomas Reef - Tiran have been known for whale sharks but I haven't seen one yet.
So these are quick tips. And remember when diving any place there don't all the time look at the reef. Also look itno the blue - this is where the big ones are. A lot of people do this mistake. There is much going on on the reef so they don't see sharks and mantas!!!!
