Were both PADI MSDT, Myself, Nicole Brand 23, am able to teach in both English and French and Chris Hunter is 28 and able to teach in English.

For the past year we have both been working for Club Med. I (Nicole) started with Club Med Turks and Caicos as a Scuba G.O., and then moved to Club Med Columbus Isle for my second season. With that I have an excellent knowledge of both the sites and fish life in Turks and Caicos. Chris worked with Club Med for the past year as well, starting as a Sailing G.O. in Sandpiper Bay, then moved over to Columbus Isle for the next two season as a Scuba G.O.

Prior to starting with Club Med I was enrolled in a Professional Scuba Dive Instructor Program at Capilano University on the Sunshine coast in Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada. The course focused on both Professional Scuba Diving and working in the customer service side of it as well. The following is a list of courses that I took during the program that added to my sales and marketing skills.

* Tourism Introduction - Theory and Practice - TOUR 111
* Communication in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism - CMNS 154
* Marine Tourism and Interpretation - TOUR 104
* Tourism Sales - TOUR 205
* Risk Management For Tourism and Outdoor Recreation - TOUR 208
* Professional Dive Practicum - TOUR 136

For the last year I have worked with club med and held various positions. In these positions I have had to do a number of mechanical repairs on a number of different boats.

SAIL BOATS
12' hobbie cat wave: complete setup and breakdown
15' hobbie cat: complete setup and breakdown

POWER BOATS
15' boston whaler yamaha 15: minor repair of hull and motor
45' single hull snorkel boat: driven and helped with minor repairs and painting
Two 55' dual hull dive boats: driven and helped with minor repairs and painting (knowledge spans farther than just minor repairs)

My first five months were focused on the previously mentioned boats (ie sailing) and the following seven months were spent on the 2 dive boats which are both 55' power cats, both with two turbo diesel Caterpillar engines and a diver capacity of 40 guests and 5 instructors. While on the boats I helped the captains with repairs all over the boats including the engines. Both cats have small zodiacs which I would also help maintain as part of our duties. The boat captains would often let us drive the boats and I have acquired a lot of hours behind the wheel and working on the boats. I am a quick learner and good problem solver. I have a basic to intermediate level of knowledge of the following: fiber glassing, hull repair, boat painting and engine maintenance/repair.

I do not let things defeat me and coming from an island which has very little resources (san salvador bahamas), I am able to do a lot with very little. I have also repaired scuba equipment as part of my duties. I am able to repair and maintain tanks, regulator 1st stages and 2nd stages, bcds, lights, ect. All of this gives me a good solid base of knowledge in a lot of areas to help me be an effective problem solver, and to do so in an efficient manner (no loss of revenue).
