Any suggestions for a new Insta360? I have a Gopro and an OM7 and am excited to try out this new camera.

Any tips would be appreciated!

Life is too short; as long as one can afford it, go with the X5 from Costco for the extra battery

The X5 released a Pro dive case, currently out of stock, that uses glass lenses and an insert that's supposed to reduce glare. Perhaps buy a knockoff non-Pro plastic dive housing, $52 on ebay while you wait for the pro. I have the X5 pro case on order, I have the insta360 X5 OEM non-pro dive case and X5 knockoff case as a backup, as sharks LOVE to bite this thing. There's zero difference between OEM and the knockoff, they both can have glare and stitching problems

They're also releasing a neutrally buoyant handle (which will probably NOT be exclusive to the X5), but no real info, yet

Additionally, DJI will be releasing a 360 camera, so maybe both companies will make improvements at a faster pace

Problem with the Insta360 is the amount of light they need. For use in the shallows under good daylight, they work well. But as soon as things start to get dark they (or at least mine) gets real grainy and underexposed, real quick.

This is what I use; the battery has lasted 3 tanks on full power, but I probably only have about 12 tanks on it, so I can't yet vouch for its durability

edit: it won't let me post the amazon link; it's $49, search amazon "Trustfire DF006 Dive Light - 2300 Lumen Underwater Flashlight, 100 Meters Scuba Diving Light, IPX8 Waterproof, 3 Modes With Holder Glove"
