Uh Ohh!
E-bay addict and bed ridden due to recovery ... that might get expensive! :D
Found a single Force Fin yet?

Thanks for the tip, Ken, how's the leg?
Hope pain's in check and you're healing well.

Stefan

Very funny. It is scary. Single force fin? They're worthless in pairs - I can only imagine what a door stop one would be.

Thanks for the laff.

Not even sure if that Zip code (UK postal code) is right, the Mole will know but I thought the London codes started with a "W". How about the shipping, he recons he's sent it, great just wait for it not to arrive. Nice scam though.

Dave.

That post code is valid and it ties in with the address.

As someone else stated +44 is the UK telephone prefix with 49 being germany.

This guy is a scammer, googling his name produces only 2 hits (surprisingly - i get 2 or 3 pages for me) but both hits are warnings about him scamming on ebay:

http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:...wwboard/messages/278.html+"jake+MALUCA"&hl=en

http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:...wwboard/messages/268.html+"jake+MALUCA"&hl=en

That postal address turns out to be a motorcyle sales centre called "Carnell".

Their landline telephone number is:

02077032271 (from inside the UK) so

00442077032271 should do it from international

+442077032271 should get it from a mobile.

Hope that info is of some use and good luck.

I did but a search of usenet revealed the guy is still selling some dive equipment on ebay as of a few months ago so it may be topical to revive it just in case he tries the same stunt.

I tried to call the german cell-number, but there is only a mailbox, not even telling the name but just repeating the number...
But hey, i could NEVER been ripped of buying a YBOD :-)

The SE postcode would/could be ok - London postcodes go by W for West, S for south, etc etc, so SE would be southeast London.

Have any of you read this? Well worth a read - I laughed so much my belly hurt!!
