What setting do you prefer to use and why? I am shooting with an Olympus SP-350 connected via fiber optic sync cord, and only the single strobe. I used to use an older Inon without the S TTL option and I always used it on Auto, with good results. I bought this new strobe with the intention of using S-TTL but after a couple dives I'm not super satisfied. I am considering going back to external auto, or trying manual. Any reasons why one setting would be better than the other? Or are different settings better in certain situations? I shoot a lot of macro with the onboard macro lens and also an Inon UCL 165. Any advice is appreciated.

Meloco14 - As nobody has answered you on this one. I read a post on wetpixel about 3 months ago regarding issues with Z240 under exposing (I think) in S-TTL there were several intelligent replies.

You should be able to find it easily.

I use it in manual because with my G9 the TTL don't work in manual like all Canon.
and the exposure is better for me in manual, it's not easy at the begining
