I was wondering if anyone has been blending nitrox with Ingersoll Rand compressors. I have been filling air bottles for several years now and wanted to start blending nitrox but my local compressor technician told me NOT to blend with this brand due to higher temp in the heads. The unit is old but has been maintained by SafeAir at my fire deptartment and they have been using synthetic oil for some time now. Compressor Model:H10T2. If this is true then does anyone know how much hotter IR runs compared to the other brands and is it safe to use this system.
