Everyone,

AS far I as know the dive is still on. I saw a post where someone said Mel might not be going. It is entirely up to you guys if she doesn't go, I will still be more than happy to drive down and meet you.

The plan is to meet at 9 am on Sat. We will be meeting at the public beach access at Mile Post 7, across from 2nd street. It is a public parking area so being there at that time should give us plenty of parking. I will be driving a black Ford F-150. I will also have my cell phone if anyone gets lost or needs help 757-812-4215.

I would suggest bringing tanks. You can get some at OBX dive shop, but I am not sure how many they have. Bill the owner is a good guy and we can go get fills there after the first dives if needed for the Huron or Sunday dives. We can see what the conditions are for moving down to dive the Huron. If they are not too great, we can dive twice at the Triangle Wrecks and try the Huron Sunday.

Mel, add anything I might have forgot. I hope you still plan on going.

Keep in touch,
Gary

I talked to OBX yesterday. If you are interested in Alum80's then youneed not worry about reserving them, they have plenty. They are not open that early though, so you may want to pick them up the night before - their hours are 9 am to 6 pm.

Thanks Gary for the info. As far as I know Jeff is still carpooling Marci, his GF and myself to you on Saturday morning.

I will be sad if Mel can't make it though - this was her plan.

Never listen to rumours. Especially from [guilty gulp] UNRELIABLE [/guilty gulp] sources! MEL is COMING! YAY! :D

yay! we'll all be there! jason's coming with cassie (his doggie) sat to be surface support, so we'll even have someone to run crying to when salt gets in our eyes and he'll wipe the salt out with the tail of his tshirt. what - it's what my daddy used to do!
