Inflator Hose Sealant???

Just salvaged the corrugated hoses off some 80's and 90's Dacor, Sea Quest, and Scuba Pro BC's.
All used plastic screw clamps and all had a yellow adhesive film that was very stretchy (like silicone rubber). I think it is just a step in the manufacturer process.

Nevermind, hot water and some thumb rubbing worked perfectly.
Oh and for what it's worth, if you want an 8in corrugated hose, look for old horse collar BC's w/ just the oral inflator.
