I am thinking of buying a kayak for diving. I can't buy or store a kayak where I live and I thought perhaps an inflatable might fit the bill.
I would use the kayak to extend my range for shore dives; paddle rather than long surface swim. I doubt I would paddle more than a mile and would not use it more than a half mile from shore.
Has anyone done this? Is it reasonably easy to get back in the boat after a dive? How do the inflatables compare in utility to a standard sit-on-top?
Example: http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/s...6&storeId=226&catalogId=40000000226&langId=-1
