- Depends on the weight, all the airlines have excess baggage fees based on weight. Since Corona all domestic airlines now give you 20kg checked baggage for free. If your just doing recreational single tank diving and now big camera gear that you should be able to stay under 20kg meaning its free

- I have flown pretty much every discount airline in Indonesia and personally I like Citilink the best but honestly there all pretty much the same you will have bad experiences with all of them if you fly them enough. That is just part of flying in Indonesia. A classic is they cancel your flight the morning of so it is basically impossible to reorganize a new flight that day if you need to fly within that day.

- Yes all airlines have a prepay option when you book your ticket online and yes it is much cheaper to prepay.
