Coast Guard rescues scuba diver | CourierPostOnline.com | Courier-Post

BARNEGAT LIGHT — A New Jersey scuba diver is recovering following a rescue by a Coast Guard helicopter after she lost consciousness diving more than 30 miles off Barnegat Light.

The Coast Guard says it was called Saturday afternoon by the Brielle-based diving boat Gypsy Blood.

The boat had reported that Francine Sinotski had surfaced and was initially unconscious.

The 32-year-old woman from Highland Park was flown to the mainland, where a medical helicopter took her to a hospital.

Oh man, I hope she is ok. I wonder if Ray went on the Blood this weekend

Yikes! The Gypsy Blood is an outstanding operation. I'm sure they did everything in their power to ensure the injured diver received help immediately. I hope she recovers fully.
