Back in 1997 I was diving Chuuk Lagoon on (I think) the Heian Maru. Blue Lagoon DM Meckenzie was looking at an octopus in a hole on the side of the hull when it grabbed hold of his face, wrapping its tentacles aright across his mask and regulator. He had to pull his mask off to get rid of it. I have never laughed so much underwater!
