Been kind of sitting around the past couple of days thinking of old friends long gone and I got the idea for this thread.

All of us have friends and/or mentors who have been significant in our lives as SCUBA divers. I think it might be nice to remember them here on SB. Although a little story of how they were important to you would be nice, just their names would help to carry on their memories.

I'll start with the two who were the closest and dearest to me. Their stories are already posted elsewhere on SB.

Harold Williams; 1922-1976. Friend and mentor. He took a snot-nosed kid and made him into a SCUBA diver.

Edward "Fuzz" Fuzkowski; 1954-1993. Best friend and dive buddy. Although we were not blood relation, he was my brother. I owe him my life.
