O.K. work sent me up here to Middlebury Indiana this morning.
It is now 5 pm and I'm starving, hopefully a local or somebody can suggest a place to eat. I'm gonna get cleaned up now. Please hurry.

Oh... my hubby is from Nappanee... not too far from there!

I would highly recommend the Essenhaus... I've eaten there before and they have good food. Or, you can go into Shipshewana (about 15 minutes or so) and eat at the Blue Gate Resteraunt... also good.

I've never eaten there, but I think Essenhaus is Deutsch for Eating House- sounds like a good place to start. Das schmeck mir gut!

After I posted I did find out there is a place to eat on-site.
Lemme tell ya I ate WAY to much, the pie was worth the 9 hr drive.
