O.K. work sent me up here to Middlebury Indiana this morning.
It is now 5 pm and I'm starving, hopefully a local or somebody can suggest a place to eat. I'm gonna get cleaned up now. Please hurry.

PS If it will help, I'm staying at the Das Dutchman Essenhaus.

Oh... my hubby is from Nappanee... not too far from there!

I would highly recommend the Essenhaus... I've eaten there before and they have good food. Or, you can go into Shipshewana (about 15 minutes or so) and eat at the Blue Gate Resteraunt... also good.

Good God. You're staying at Das Essenhaus and you want to know where to eat??? EAT THERE!!!! It's awesome! Eat there every day until you leave. I would!

After I posted I did find out there is a place to eat on-site.
Lemme tell ya I ate WAY to much, the pie was worth the 9 hr drive.
Thanks to all, If the roads don't get dangerous toward home I'll be leaving sometime tomorrow

Not Dutch - Deutsch (pronounced approximately "doytch"). German for German.

But a common mistake!
