I was so glad that I managed to get certfied at last. I just finished my PADI OW class yesterday. I'm really2 excited and looking foward to the adventures that I would be going into for the future :10:

Don't fall for the pressure, rent before you buy..............enjoy diving.
well... actually, to answer some of the questions.. I'm from Malaysia and I got my OW done at Pulau Perhentian last week. It was really a nice diving site with over 30 dive sites around the island. You can also do wreckdiving there . But, sadly, I'll be going back to Texas in august ( for my final year of study ) and most of the diving done there are in the lakes..

Not a problem. Texas is reasonably close to the Gulf, NW Florida, and Mexico. Lots of excellent spots.
