Well, I private messaged a lot of you about places to dive in the keys and as most of you know by now, do to vacation screw up, that's not happening. The good news is I still get to do some diving. I am going to Epcot to dive in the living seas exibit. I have seen some posts on here about it and thought it would be a cool thing to do. I am excited.. I won't get to use the new reg I just bought but oh well, there's lots of time for diving and now I have an excuse to go again soon. (Cause it would be a shame for the reg to sit on the shelf untested. What if there's something I don't like about it. I will need to test it many many times in many many situations as soon as possible. :D )

Cool ,I am so jealous.I've got to take my DW there .We stay in Disney several weeks outta the year but can't get it together enough to plan that out.Wave hi to all the touristas.

We were there a couple years ago, what a BLAST! Waving at the tourists is the best part, they grab their friends and shake them and point at you! See if you can get the people standing in the observation area to do the hokey pokey with you. This works best if you have a child in the crowd who knows what you plan to do.

Great advise... I will have to try the hokey pokey thing...

Have someone in the tunnel outside taking pictures of you in there, too! And tell them to take a lot...they don't turn out as well as you think they will sometimes. Film is cheap!

I used to be one of those people who fed the animals in the tank (not at Epcot!) and the one thing I regret is that I didn't have more photos taken...my hubby loves to buy the camera equipment but doesn't like to look through the viewfinder...most shots have my body parts cut off or have me swarmed with fishes, rays, sharks and turtles so all you see is a fin hanging out at the bottom!

Have great time - it really is a fun thing to do...i never tired of taking people around the tank :)

It was great. I was very impressed with the program at epcot. The gear was actually in really good condition and I got to use split fins for the first time.. LOVED THEM. I did lose one as I went through a swim through, and of course it's on the video I purchased. (Which was pretty cool) So now I get to live with that forever. But over all it was a really great experience. I couldn't convince my mom to do the hokey pokey with me though:(

No hokey pokey :( You gotta get her to live a little! I just wish I'd had someone on the outside so I could get it started! We couldn't get a video either, ALL of their cameras were broken so they gave us an extra 15 minutes in the tank instead which was cool too.

P.S. All of my students do part of the hokey pokey as part of their graded underwater final hehehe! Have to make sure they can follow directions given underwater right?

I agree with ber, Hokey Pokey is a great thing in class, besides just following directions, think of the help with boyancey.. I mean you can't bother with inflating and deflating to keep from going up and down if your busy putting your right foot in, Right? Come on Walter, you know you want all your students to be able to play childrens games underwater.
