This guy is not the case!,
well I don't dive everyday but I do frequently and is hard to me to say no to that
maybe if you red the post again you will see he wasn't a good diver or buddy...his only "skill" was the SAC
You did make it about the GUY. And guys like him. out of shape lacking skills and the proper mind set and or training that you adhere to.
Your stunned that someone that large or that much out of shape, that much more different than you, is actually better than you. His SAC rate is far superior than yours and you shutter the thought that since he has not done any DIR training that it is wrong to have such a low SAC rate. That is where the DIR arrogance comes in to play. Sad but so true. Guys like that may not follow the same principles as DIR..so what. He is diving for himself. If he was your buddy..then I would understand your concern. I would be concerned.
Your made the assumption and turned it into and elitist statement.
If you were so shocked about his SAC rate, why did you not ask the man yourself. i am sure he would have been more than happy to share his knowledge with you over a few beers.
DIR is about sharing knowledge. Not dictating it.
Safe dives.
A little too much coffee this morning??
The last thing any GUE diver needs to be doing is going around on a crusade trying to figure stuff like that out.

I hope that is in jest.
