This spring I sold my SeaQuest Diva BC and bought a Zeagle Zena. The Diva never fit me right, rode up on my body at the surface, and felt uncomfortable underwater. Lest anyone think it was too big, it wasn't....it's just not designed for my body. I fell in love with the Zena in my LDS and loved the way it fitted in the shop. I ordered last year's model from Larry at ScubaToys and immediately knew it was the right BC for me, without even hitting the water.

Well, we just got back from Maui and doing 14 dives. I can't even begin to express how much I love the Zena!! The back inflate was EVERYTHING everyone on this board has said and more! Not only was bouyancy easier, but I never felt as if I was wearing a BC at all. The corset design fitted snugly to my body and NEVER moved, even on the surface with a 1/2 inflated wing.

I can confidently say that I will NEVER go back to a jacket style BC!!!

Marek K:
So... what are you doing with your Diva that you're *ahem* never going back to?

What size? :D

I sold it on e-bay for the same price I bought it for a year earlier. :D Nice to be able to dive for a year on it for free.

Jaye (wifie) was diving some wack Scubapro wrap around thingie. I tried for the longest time to get her into a Libra (the SeaQuest Balance cut for ladies). She finally did, and is never going back. Loves it.

Next step is to put her into one of Tobin's BP units, to see if she likes it.

Who knows... she tried Jets in Belize a couple of weeks ago and will soon be eBaying her long, plastic Atomic spits!

Glad to hear you found something that you love.

Scott, I gotta tell you that I received quite a few comments about my Zena. Not only from the DM's on the boat commenting that I'm "hard core" with my back inflate Zeagle, but also from 3 different women divers who weren't happy with their own BC's and fascinated by my Zena. I explained how the Zena worked with the modular design and how comfortable it was, and I'm sure at least one of them was going to go home and buy one for herself!! :)

You can safely assume that I'm a major fan of Zeagle and will always look to you for my future equipment purchases. Oh yeah, I dive with a Zeagle Envoy too, so it isn't just my Zena I adore. ;)

I have the SP Ladyhawk and i feel the same way...i love it and it's so comfortable. never will ever go back the jacket style.
