Can you manually focus the lense with these housings? I bought a fuji e900 in 2005 to get into photography while diving. I have improved my photo technique a lot, and I am now considering upgrading to a slr housing. I've never dived with a such a large camera. I am able to comfortably maneuver with my current equipment, and im reluctant to switch to gear which encumbers my movement. Maybe its wise to rent one for a few dives to see if it is practical for me.

Yes you can manually focus with these housings. The housing comes with two different size focus rings and gears. Make sure you match the correct lens port with your lens. If you have not bought the camera yet, I highly recommend the T2i. Great

As far as maneuvering goes, you will be amazed at how little these outfits weigh underwater and the dual handles make control pretty simple and comfortable.

I agree w/ Doubler- T2i is a great camera; we carry a housing by Sea & Sea that's absolutely superb. It weighs maybe 5 lbs on land but underwater it's a breeze to handle.
