Ikelite

I have a ikelite housing for the D300 with a DS-160 stroge and a DS-50 strobe and when in the water the unit is extremely negative.

OTHER THAN replacing the arms are their any alternatives that would make the uit a little less negative.

I prefer my ULCS bouyancy arms when using two DS161 with my Aquatica
They do the job and make it very streamlined.

Certainly less expensive but do they work? Surely, they will compress under pressure and hence add little buoyancy, if any?

To give you an idea a Ikelite housing with camera and wide angle lens like the Tokina 10-17 is Neutral at around 12m. Once you go deeper it gets negative (slightly).

I added bouyancy arms by ULCS as I found the foam noodle types useless at depth.
