Ron, they've also both been building lights and strobes for years. Both of these lights are sold primarily for video and photo use. I'm not sure of the exact specs on either one, but considering the size and battery technology used it's not much of a concern. Neither will be even close to as heavy as the DS-125s I used to have. Plus I have ULCS buoyancy arms.

I called BH Photo, Adorama and both east and west Backscatter and no one knows anything about it.....

Add Big Blue to my list. Just a little more power, wider beam, more power settings, and cheaper. One fixed beam model and one with spot or wide beam.
