I just bought a Fuji E900 camera and bought the Ikelite housing. I then ordered the digital tray with single handle. My question is when you mount the camera to the tray the instructions say to stick the Bolt guide into the recess and screw housing on. Problem is the only holes the bult guides will go into are not recessed. When you install it the guides and screw heads stick out about 1/4 inch and when you set the housing down it wobbles because its not flat. Is this normal? I would think with Ikelites normal quality that something has to be wrong. Basically on the bottom there are 2 recessed quarter size areas toward the rear of the tray that have 3 small holes in them "much to small for the bolts" and then aligned directly in the middle 2 holes that match the housing screws but they are NOT recessed on the bottom but they are on the top were the spacers sit. Anyone have this set up? I just can't believe they would design it with bolts sticking out like that.

Did you get any washers with it?

Yep, have the same setup.
I ended up using the non-recessed holes and just mounting the housing flush to the tray.

Strange but true. I have the same annoyance with my Canon S80's Ikelite case.

I think Ikelite just decided not to bother updating the handle just because their housings no longer fit optimally. I'll probably move over to an ULCS tray at some point, but this will do for now.

The more I look at mine the more I think it looks like they mounted the handle on the tray upside down. If they would just flip the tray you then have recessed holes to stick the bolt guides in. BUT I called the factory and they say its just the way they are made and nothing I can do about it. She even laughed and said maybe it was engineered that way on purpose so the camera has a tilt to it to shed water quicker. Guess once your underwater it doesn't really matter anyway!.
