I'm thinking about getting a DS125, and already own the DS50 with the a TTL sensor, and standard arms.

1) Will they work together ok, i.e. DS125 as the main flash, and the DS50 as the fill in?

2) presumably I will need two TTL sensors?

3) Is it worth getting ball and socket arms? (maybe only one for the main flash, and use the Std arms for the DS50)

Thanx for any info

:)

I think most people who use 2 strobes generally use identical strobes otherwise your setting could get quite lobsided and a drag to carry after awhile. The DS125 is quite powerful so I am not sure if the DS50 will add much as a filling filter. I have been using single DS125 and is very happy with it.
Here is link with a little info regarding dual strobe:

I would definitely get the ball and socket arm (the deluxe package) as it will let you position the strobe easily for macro, WAL etc. The Smart charger is also a big plus.
