Ikelite housing for JVC Picsio

I'm looking at the Ikelite package with the JVC Picsio GCFM1. Have heard the JVC controls are not the easiest ie: no feedback when taking stills.. etc. Anyone have experience with this package? Are the controls issues solved with the housing?

All taken with Picsio + Ikelite housing + red filter ambient light. Need to be firm with buttons sometimes but gets the job done

The buttons work good for me, when its in the housing you do have to push a little hard to get power, no big deal
