Having bought an Ikelite housing for my Canon S90 I have found that a part next to the O-ring groove in the housing door looks like it has been cut with a knife or other sharp tool. I took the attached photo (sorry about the blurriness) where the cutting is most easily seen in the left side inside the red "cloud". The cutting has resulted in sharp corners. Having contacted the seller I have been informed that all the housings in their stock had ths same "cut". I find this rather strange as I would be afraid that the sharp edges could damage the O-ring during insertion or removal.

I wonder if any out there has had the same experience??

I suggest you post this in the Ikelite forum or cross reference to it. Ikelite folks should let you know if it is expected or not.
Also, I would retake that picture and focus on the housing not the bag behind it. Try macro mode.

Well, I only have one, but after checking my "population" and 100% don't have any cutting in that area, just a molded shape.

I have been in contact with Ikelite on this issues and have been informed that this is normal for the housing and will have no impact on the leakage risk.
