Has anyone ever attached a Loc-Line base directly to an Ikelite housing (epoxy, superglue) to serve as a base for a focus/modeling light for night time photography? Just trying to figure out how to jury-rig one. I may end up getting the triple clamp and light holder fron ULCS if this is not an option. Thanks.

Which Ike housing. If you can put a ball on it, you can attach loc-line to it. Take the o-ring off the ball then push one of the large loc-line male segments over the ball. Push really hard, once its on it won't go anywhere.

It is the housing for the Canon 400D. I was actually hoping to mount it directly on the housing above when the hot shoe of the camera is.

Personally, I would put it on one of the arms. If you are using two strobes either use a triple ULCS connector or a Y connector for the locline.

WooHoo Cozumel again 12/7-14/09!

Why would you want to jury rig a holder with a rig like this? Get the ULCS three way and do it right.
