Hi All

I have this combination (DS125 and DS160) and have my circuitry set to the DS125 inside my housing (for the Canon 40D - the choice is DS125 or DS200) on the switch). Has anyone got experience of these together and how they work in TTL?? I set it up with the D160 on the left and the secondary part of the dual synch chord goes to the DS125.

I am having a few problems recently and think its a settings issue.

Cheers

You must have something else going on.

I have used that setup exactly as you indicate with no issues whatsoever. My experience is they react exactly the same on either side of the sync cord.

The ttl setting on the 160 feels a little different than on the 125. Check that to make sure you are on ttl and not Full is all I can think of with what you have said.

For me, it is like having two of the same strobes in all respects, except for the obvious, the 160 is more powerful.
