I bought an Auto 35 last year and just bought the tray & Auto 35 strobe.

It did come with an owners manual...looks like the same one that came with the Auto 35.

I was trying to attach the tray to the camera housing last night -- this is not addressed anywhere in the manual.

There are 2 metal disks on the tray that apparently slip into the slots in the bottom of the housing......but I couldn't get them to slide in. I honestly did not try that hard since I was worried about damaging the housing.

Any hints on this?

Thanks.

The Camera only slides in one way. With the plate grip in your left, call the edge of the tray farthest from you "the front". The camera slides onto the front of the tray. The metal disks will swivel a little, and you have to have them perfectly aligned perfectly with the slots.

My metal "disks" are square. If yours are round, then your tray has a different design than mine.
