Isearched the archives but didn't find an answer. So here goes. Is it possible to use an Ikelite AQ/S strobe with a point and shoot such as the Canon A40?

As long as the camera does not fire a pre-flash, the Aq/s could be used. If it fires a pre-flash, the strobe will fire and not be able to recharge the capacitor fast enough to flash again when the camera fires the main flash.
