New G11 and Ike housing , but now where do you hook on your focus light?
Previous setup I used the strobe external mount with is ideally centered over where the lens is pointing to focus. Only adjustments needed is to tilt the light down for close in macro shots.
I could put it on one of the strobe arms sure, but that would seem kind of fumbly.
I consider gluing a block of acrylic on the top of the housing (with a drilled threaded hole) for bracket attachment. No doubt that would void any warranties.
Anybody engineer anything cool in this regard?
