Not sure what you are asking. When you place someone on your ignore list, you still see when they post, it just doesn't let you see thier post. Unfortunately when someone quotes them, the post still shows up.

No, even simpler than that. I just don't want to be bothered by sorting through posts to any threads that the particular person(s) have originated. If the person(s) post in someone else's thread, all is fine, I just get the message.

In other words, can I ignore threads started by said person(s) also? That would be most convenient, intuitive, and welcome.

It's not a function of vBulletin, and therefore not a function of ScubaBoard.

Sorry.

Is there any way that I can decline seeing any and all new posts (Quick Links, Today's Posts) to threads started by person(s) that I have placed on "Ignore"?

Yes, you can just ignore them.

Sometimes people worth reading post to the thread and I feel that I might be missing something. So I "lurk" the thread and end up kicking myself for lack of discipline.

Worst part is, I don't even get the satisfaction of reading something worthwhile...

Maybe you just get the satisfaction of kicking yourself?
