Corned Beef on Toasted Rye with a side of Mazta Ball Soup. and the matza balls have to be semi-firm, but not tooo hard, but not too soft. BIG, not the little bite sized ones packed too much. it MUST have carrots, celerty, and jussst a bit of oregano. the broth cannot be clear, but rather a golden colour. oh man, i am going to go make some now.

Natasha:
What would be your perfect sandwich? Name it too!

Here is the Natasha

9 grain bread.

Hot mustard on one half of the bread and fat free Mayo on the other.

In order to the bread..

Several leaves of red lettuce
2 large slices of fresh garden tomatoes with salt
4 slices of cucumber
Several exotic olives
4 slices of oven browned turkey breast
1 slice of provolone
Grill to golden brown.

After re-reading your samich recipe (mouth watering) it sounds very good. Would those be garden fresh cucumbers too? But can you name a samich after yourself? I had a drink named after me, it's called a Dave. :11ztongue

Corned beef, roast beef, pastrami on rye with Plochman's mustard. 'Bout 1/2 lb of each of the meats. Served with sour green tomatos, creamy cole slaw and with a bourbon old-fashioned to drink.

Puts hair on your chest, or takes it off.

Okay!

Liverwurst, American cheese, lettuce, onion, mayo on a hard roll. (kasier or bulky, depending on were you live)

The name???????????? How 'bout. "The Slim Jer."

A grasshopper walks into a bar and the bartender said,"Hey we have a drink named after you."

The grasshopper said, "You have a drink named 'Steve"??"

(I know this isn't the joke section but I thought it fit in here!) :D

Dave:
I got the idea for this thread from watching the Food Channel. The TV reporter was at a deli and they named a sandwich after him. I thought, hmm, I want a sandwich named after me. Ha!
PS Garden fresh cucumbers are great. Yes, I want those!
