Give me a 1st stage reg made out of a marine grade stainless tungstun carbide alloy thats simple and easy to service with ordinary tools, reliable and tough enough to be trodden on by elephants and mishandled by apes. Make the full service manual and the parts to maintain it available over the counter. Make sure it doesn't freeflow when I'm inflating a lift bag at 20 Fah and doesn't get asthmatic when I'm out sucking an electrolux at 5ATA. Give me a equally tough 2nd stage that can be used as a substitute hammer, doesn't need knobs with a reasonably smooth in take and an easy flowing exhaust, that keeps the bubbles away from my face. Last but not least, please make it cheap.

I would like to see more thought put into mouthpiece design. All mouthpieces essentially require the diver to clamp down on something between their teeth, which can cause jaw fatigue and aggrevate TMJ (believe me, I know).

Maybe a mouthpiece that was more like a nipple would be better? :baby:

We can put a man on the moon...but why can't someone make a mouthpiece that tastes like bacon?
