if you can afford it, i would recommend sp mk17 a700 black tech, it is an awesome regulator i have dived it in some rather cold quarry's and its brilliant, delivers everything you need, the venturi adjustment thingy works well and (touch wood) ive yet to have a free flow. only downside is with the front being all shiny and black, it shows up little imperfections and you may spend forever buffing it up to keep it looking nice 
Scubapro is now officially off my "recommended" list as of January 1, 2012, as this is the same time the "parts for life" ends (unless you buy a package Reg, Computer & BC). As much as they make nice stuff as fas as I am conserned the only good reason to purchase a scubapro over say Atomic is gone without the parts for life.
