So I am looking at a dive rite bp/w but not sure of the size of the bladder. I am going to be diving in Texas single al80s and not sure if this wing is going to be to big. Can anyone tell me by looking if it is a 35 lb bladder or bigger?

I have this bladder from my old set up, if it is the same (as it appears by size) its has a 45 pound (21kg) lift capacity.
Should be more than enough if you are going single tank.

Yeah it is going to be to big and bulky for what I need. I will continue my search.

The voyager exp and xt wings are a great happy medium. They are rated at 32lbs lift and are a good size to work with a tall 12L or AL80 tank. The 32lbs lift ensures the diver, diving a single tank, will have enough lift capacity regardless of their exposure suit and weight configuration, and gives an extra margin should you need to support another diver at the surface due to an equipment failure or a rescue. The newer (as of a couple years ago) voyager wings come with a bungee system to help retract the wing when it is deflated, it is unnecessary, but does work....I have a voyager exp without the bungee system and a voyager xt with the bungee system.

Anyone interested in possibly trading me for a smaller wing?

My recommendation is check out the classifieds section and keep your eye peeled for good deals on smaller wings or just bite the bullet and buy one. Keep the larger one in case you decide to dive with doubles and/or get into tech diving.

If you really don't have a use for it, you may find it easier to just outright sell it and use the money to offset the cost of the wing you would prefer.
