Identification Poll

I first tought it was a large sand goby, that was skidding in and out of sight, then on the picture i do not think the head quite fits....
And it looks more like a young female or even young male Dragonet.

In my old post without poll even sandperch was suggested

So here we go:

What is This

Oh and no sanperches in this area as far as Fishbase concerned..... so we can eliminate at least one

Nope the sand perch would not be in my area if found out over fishbase ....
But I am happy it was certainly not a great white one....could have lost a limb

Looks more like an Atlantic Guitarfish. Is it goby sized?

About the size of ..very cold water..3-4 inches maximum

What temperature and where found?

15-16 centigrade - roughly 59/60F , we were the first divers there so no wetsuiters who warmed themselves up recently before us there

IMO this will be a Callionymus lyra or Dragonet
very common in our waters
