ID please

We saw this fish close to shore in Saint Martin, Maho Bay. We could not find him in Paul Humann's Reef Fish ID Book. Does anyone know what type of fish it is?

Thanks for all the help. Sorry I was really busy the last few days and didn't get a chance to respond. We weren't quite sure about the flying gunard. I know my pictures aren't very clear but this fish seemed to have spines coming out of its back and I didn't see the front ventral fins in the Id book until I looked very closely. Thanks once again and by the way Happy Presidents Day to all.
