Good afternoon
I'd like to improve my photos.
Do you recommend any books or courses?
Especially in terms of macro photography, I'd like to learn a lot more.
There are many techniques that I don't know and I find fabulous photos that I can't match.
In Portugal I can dive every weekend, weather permitting. 90% of the photos are macro.
Only when I travel abroad do I focus more on environmental photography, Wide Photography.

There are many more experienced photographers than can speak up but from my own lessons I will share: get out and shoot shoot shoot. Then review, find out what you like, what works, and why. Follow along with the work of photographers you like to watch their work and process. Looks at books for photographers you like. Understand their lighting and composition tehcniques. Join a photography group.

Attend a workshop. Reading books is fine when you are already good.

Slow down.
Improve your trim and buoyancy.
Slow down.
Wear colorful clothing. (Nothing is afraid of the Queen Angel Fish)
Slow down. (You'll find more)
Think about a rebreather! (Fish hate bubbles)
Slow down.

You really can't concentrate on the finer arts of photography until you're really mastered the above.

I like the idea of a workshop, but make sure that it is one where you aren't paying for some guy/gal to talk to you during the morning but not helping in the water. I can highly recommend Dive with the Tribe for workshops, they are in the water with no camera just there to help.
